600/Smte
Ok One question for everyone......
Should the Smiter of a 600/smite run get half of the money that the 600 gets from payers?
Leave yes or no and a little explanations of the reason why.
Thank

Yeah.. since they both need one another to do it, I don't see why they should't split the money.

the conventional wisdom is no, as the smiter sets bonds then picks up free loot
the 600 does all the work, gets the blame if things go wrong, and has to have the skill to get it done
based on those reasons, I see a pretty obvious answer

Smiter sets bonds and afk.
600 runs into things and presses prot spirit/soa/sb over and over.
Neither one takes much skill or effort. If you're grouping, you share by whatever agreed method you have, because it's a group.

Ok, same question here but with the Rt600/smite set up.
I ask this since the smiter needs to constantly re-apply [Spell breaker] in-between mobs.

I'm just curious, are you stupid or something? :S
Hero smiters > Human smiters.
-Hero smiters don't DC
-Hero smiters don't agro
-Hero smiters don't want/need money
-Hero smiters can be flagged
There's more, but I'm too lazy. You get my point?

Meh, depends on what the agreement is.
Before I started 600'n CoF, I usually ran smiter, but never *asked* for any of the profit, since I was getting a free run, which means free money. Sometimes you'd get a 600 that would split the profit some way or another, but it was never necessary. Start playing the 600 role and you won't have that problem xD

I don't have a 600 monk but I have been in groups with them and agree that a hero smiter is better than a Human Smiter in many ways but am also too lazy to name them all!

50/50 here cause i run with a guildie and wouldnt want it any other way...we team well together..
if i were to do 600 without ...it would be with a Hero.
but if 600 picked up a Human Smiter..i still think it should be 50/50 cause 600 is nothing without smiter..and visa versa..IMO

In all the other posts i see just GREED!
I agree with "slowerpoke" If u don't want to split use a hero, but if u play with humans, u HAVE TO!

Wrong. Setting the bonds is part of the run, so picking up the loots is not FREE.

That must be true, but if something goes wrong who else is to blame for? Or it's ALWAYS bad luck?
Heroes are definitively better if u like to play GREEDY!
Let flame me now.

QFT. Heroes don't need money, human players do. And if that's the case, refer to above post.

Holly I never asked if you should use Hero Smites over Human Smites I asked One questions, so please do not flame me by calling me stupid when you can't even answer One question correctly.

hmm.. this is a tough one to answer for me.
I generally do COF runs with heros, without taking any "passengers" ie I dont run it for cash.
So as per the O/P question?
I do think those of you out there that do this run for a set fee.. should split the profits 50/50. As in any business, all parties need their share! without the smite.. a 600 would have a bitch of a time doing anything... and the same could be said the other way around.
